I have a 2007 nissan altima with approx 42000 miles. I noticed something hanging down behind the rear left tire. When i took it to the shop i was told that the rear sway bar was snapped in half. This car has only has one owner and has been taken care of. This should not have happened and nissan needs to make this a recall, as it is a safety issue, and has been reported by so many people!! *tt

Discovered today that the rear sway bar had snapped just inside of the right side center mount. There is rust inside the hollow sway bar. I have not hit any pot holes or curbs or bumps that would cause this damage, nor is there any other damage to the suspension. The sway bar appears to have snapped from being weakened by rust. *tr
