2017 Nissan Altima Tire Sizes

The 2017 Nissan Altima uses tire sizes 215/55R17, 215/60R16, and 235/45R18, depending on the vehicle’s original wheel and tire fitment. Check the size printed on the tire currently fitted and compare it with the vehicle’s door-jamb tire label before choosing a replacement. The figures shown here are the listed size options, not a rating for load capacity, speed, or pressure.

Tire size codes describe the tire’s width, aspect ratio, construction, and wheel diameter; the numbers are not interchangeable simply because the tires may look similar. The listed sizes differ in width, sidewall proportion, and wheel diameter, so follow the fitment specified for your Altima rather than selecting by appearance. The available size can vary with trim or equipment, but the facts provided do not identify which size belongs to each version.

If the door-jamb label or owner’s manual specifies a size, use that information for your vehicle. If you need a pressure, load, or speed rating, or cannot confirm the correct fitment, check the door jamb or owner’s manual; those figures are not provided here.
